Music Therapy Volunteering in Nepal at “Centre For Children With Intellectual Disabilities”
It has been confirmed that music therapy, especially in the form of learning to play an instrument, has the ability to reduce the symptoms and development of dimension, help overcome the challenges of a learning disability, and increase academic performance in students.
Keeping this in mind, playing musical instruments in the classroom are organised regularly as a therapy. Children and staff play several types of musical instruments. Everyone try their best in producing melodies & harmony. The most interesting part during this session is, the children enjoy playing the musical instruments randomly. Keeping the children entertained and engaged together with learning is most important. The teachers and the volunteers give lot of efforts and ideas for that.
Volunteer Society Nepal expects applications from interested music therapists or amateur musicians to provide their professional service and valuable time at Centre for Children with Intellectual Disability to bring joy and happiness in these children with special needs.
Donate now to help and change the lives of these children. Join Volunteer Society Nepal (VSN) in doing whatever it takes to improve the daily life & health of intellectually & physically disabled children who are most neglected in Nepalese society.
Centre for Children with intellectual Disabilities is run by Volunteer Society Nepal (VSN) with some part of the fee from its volunteers.
