Volunteer Society Nepal : The best experience for volunteers, the best value for Nepal.
Volunteer Service Nepal has been offering different volunteering opportunities in Nepal for learning Buddhism in monastery for interested foreign nationals as per their interest and wishes.
Having a profound interest in Buddhism and meditation, Mr Markus Rupp, a young lad of 21 years of age from Austria, originally from Germany signed up with Volunteer Society Nepal to work as a volunteer in Monastery in Nepal for 8 weeks. He is an engineering student with a devout notion of taking something while giving something back. Nepal There would be no better alternative than Nepal to work with the young monks helping them learn the English language together with some games and at the same time learning about Buddhism and meditation in the monastery in Nepal.
He will be placed in Pokhara where he will be effortful of getting his wishes fulfilled.
Here is what he has to say:
My Name is Markus Rupp. I am 21 years old. I was raised in Austria and am studying in Germany at the moment. The course of study is engineering science. Since I was raised in Austria, which lies in the Alps, I like skiing and hiking. Furthermore, I enjoy all kinds of activities on the water like sailing, surfing and kitesurfing.
Since I also have an interest in Buddhism and meditation I decided to volunteer in a monastery. I hope there I might be able to learn something from the monks and want to give something back by teaching them in English and other stuff which might help them in the future.
