Cecelia’s mornings began at the CBIA School, where she assisted the local pre-primary teacher in teaching young children. Weekend Adventures: Exploring Nepal’s Natural Beauty
While Cecelia’s weekdays were full of rewarding work, her weekends were spent exploring the cultural and natural beauty of Nepal. Along with fellow volunteers, she visited World Heritage Sites around the Kathmandu Valley, including ancient temples and stupas that are a testament to Nepal’s rich history.
Cecelia also enjoyed hiking around the hills of Kathmandu, taking in breathtaking views from Nagarkot and Shivapuri. To top off her adventure, she joined another volunteer from Belgium for a 2-night, 3-day Chitwan Jungle Safari. This exciting tour allowed her to experience Nepal’s incredible wildlife and jungle landscapes, making her time in Nepal truly unforgettable.
