Volunteers revisited VSN and CBIA

A volunteer in the year 2009, Mr Mel Williams from the United States of America USA felt in love with Nepal and Nepali people. He worked as a volunteer in Career Building International Academy CBIA, a partner school of Volunteer Society Nepal – VSN for some time. He got very much attached with the small children of the school.

Then he kept on coming to school almost every year, connecting the students of CBIA with that of Springville-Griffith Institute, New York of which he is the president. The students of both the schools had the opportunity of interacting with each other live through Skype.

He never came to the school empty-handed. He always has something to gift, sometimes e-books and sometimes boxes full of books. He played an instrumental role in setting up the school library. He supported us smart board together with the furniture required in the library.

Due to the pandemic, there was a gap of a little more than two years but as soon as the impact of Covid-19 is reduced, he back again with his wife Helen. This time also he has brought books for the school library. The CBIA School family extends its sincerest thanks to Mr Mel Williams and Mrs Helen Williams.
